Well my prof finally showed up at 10:35pm EST. Apparently there was some mix up because she thought she'd told us to take a cab, while we were positive that she told us to wait, she'd pick us up.
Kurt is a much better Yatzee player than I am - we were about to start our 3rd game when the van finally showed up. We also found a wheelchair. Kurt tried to teach me how to do a wheely - I was unsuccessful. I must say, it is by God's grace alone that I was so calm and relaxes while we waited. Typically I would have been really upset and frustrated, but I was very much okay and in good spirits. Jo said she'd make it up to us tomorrow by buying us lunch - sounds good to me :)
My roommates are polar opposites - one right now is organizing and getting ready for bed, the other however isn't feeling too well (too much rum punch). Hopefully she is feeling better in the morning.
All in all, we waited at the airport for 3 hours and 45 minutes...good bonding time I guess!
I'll post pictures tomorrow, let you know what things look like :-)
Oh! I forgot to tell you about the {minus one piece of luggage}. Because I have brought a second bag filled with equipment for the schools I had to declare the contents. Unfortunately, I didn't have the master list, Jo had it and well, wasn't at the airport. The customs guy wouldn't let me take the bag with me until he sees what exactly I was declaring...silly thing tough because he could see: a bunch of tennis/badminton rackets, pickle ball rackets, and 2 rubber chickens. Oh well, back to the airport tomorrow!
Luv, Jen
